art is a tart

As usual it’s been a while. Hope you’re all good. The title is a link to Andy Watson's art which was pointed out on the Jon Ronson forums lately. It’s good. And here is my very own work. Lately I have been mostly drawing pirates, using the medium of felt-tip.

And here’s Ana again. Of course.

I think I've lost your email address! Thank you for the Christmas card, it was a lovely surprise in the mail :)

Ana gets more beautiful with every picture :) How do you like having a one year old?

well, it's great most of the time ! it's a bit tricky right now as i'm feeling a bit under the weather and ana's not been sleeping well since christmas (reverting to night feeds etc. argh !!) but in general she grows more hilarious and intelligent every day. howr your kids ? howr you ?

we're good! quick summary of the last two weeks, lol.. Talia was born, I've been stuck on bedrest while a minor tear from the birth heals, husband lost his job, husband accepted a job offer and the older two kids have been going crazy over wanting to hold their new sister! Honestly the best two weeks we've had in a long time :) God is good!

I've found the night feeds come and go with my 17 month old.. she occasionally needs them for comfort/soothing/teething and then she goes back to her normal sleeping patterns. It'll improve :)

I like your drawing. Has a sort of children's book illustration look about it.

thanks katie! it is from a children's book! one i've written called 'panic sam the pirate'. i've only done about 5 drawings for it though.
