i am involved in mankind

No man is an island, entire of itself
every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main
if a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were,
as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were
any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind
and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls
it tolls for thee.

John Donne

This is the last thing I read last night before going to
sleep and having
the most horrendous nightmares. I don't
know if they were related but this morning
both John
Donne and the dreams have caused the thought that our
security is not
fragile, it is illusory.

This means that all we have is each other.

Let's stick together. Are you in?

aye...i reckon that is true enough...that security is illusory...but, then, i reckon we are creatures that are addicted to illusions...and using them pragmatically to get us by somehow. and i think alot of those illusions are very must in place, to prevent us realising how separate we actually are...and so we keep spinning the illusory web of connectedness, cos it makes us feel more secure...more held...less alone...less abandoned. And, it is not that i am saying, it is one or the other...that we are either, separate or connected...i just think that there is a healthier way of being together, that doesn't require the illusions, that often lead to toxicity in the way we relate to the world, and the others we share it with (but, we often use illusions to avoid seeing the toxicity...vicious circle)Flip!! See how positive i can be when i put my mind to it ;0)

security is not fragile, it is illusory. too true.

and we too often sacrifice too much for the sake of a security which may betray us.

that said, as illusions go, it's a very pleasant one!

indeed. i often think about the red pill Vs the blue one. and you're gonna need to watch the matrix with me to find out what that means! :P

Ah yes. Here we all are again..The eternal circle/cycle. Illusion vs Reality.Check out my post about that one.

I confess, I would prefer to keep my feet a couple of inches above any current reality I have not had a bit of input into conjuring......But I have to tell you..I will choose connection every time....Caring, Sharing and loving as we can probably really is all there is..

I try the internal connect first and then, for me, there is the need to reach out ..Although you do not know are welcome and invitied to come by and visit....I would like to come aboard.
Hope your Holidays are filled with small pleasures and ample measures of joy.
Until later

Yeah why didn't I take the blue pill.....?!!)

Ignorance was bliss.

Apparently Enlightenment can be too....)

The bit in the middle when your bodies freezing and realites shifting not so much fun.

Have you read Antony De Melo's 'Awakening'?

Happy New Year Mr T!)
